Newbie coming at yah

Called and spoke with tech support, they suggested that I try the forum.
That being said.
I have a stainless steel surface 16w"x19h"x2t" t=thickness

I need to have both sides run a squeegy system that would start at the top top then move down the vertical surface then come out about .5" then rotate back to the topmost position wait for 5 minutes then repeat the process all over again in 5 minute intervals.

Would like to attach to both sides, almost like a track system that has the ability to lift say .5 lbs on ether side. so a pound in lifting capability max. as well as keep a constant pressure on the downstroke.

Not to sure how to attach an image considering that I have to wait 24hr period of time .

BTW: keep in mind this it will be working in direct contact with water and moisture…
Thanks

Sean

I’m sorry, but I seem to have missed your question.

Are you asking how to build this? Are you asking if it is possible, where to get parts? Are you asking what motors will provide the 1 lbs lift requirement? Aside from a vertical squeegee that operates ever 5 min, I don’t know what your question is.

home made screen printer for t-shirts maybe? just a wag.

Yes, Sorry. looking to make something that would do the above job…
Starting with (0) need to know what parts, if theyre even available,
it seems to me to be a faily simple action. Just not sure where to start:

I presume the runners, or guide rails would be the first thing that needs to be added to the side, then i presume 2-4 motors (1-2) for each side.
To control the vertical raise then to put pressure back on the surface to squeegy them down.

Sorry wish I knew more technical jargon but I’m just starting out. So please have patience with the newbie…

Thx
Sean

All the while keeping in mind that this application is gonna be in constant contact with water and moisture!
