i am not new to software development however i am very new to robotic development. i have some basic questions
what is the programming language that is normally used in artificial intelligence?
yes google is my friend however can any one give me links or words to be used in google to get basic robot parts in the developemt.
i know this is huge but with me being a sci fi buff since i was old enough to walk i am intereted in creating a data from star trek of a silon from battle star glatica not weapon friendly just the basic make up.
i would also be intereted in any projects anyone has that is interesting.
To understand correctly, you’re looking to make a replica / prop? You wrote both Star Trek and Battle Star Galactica, so not sure what you’re planning to create. You want to create a ful-sized (metal) cylon robot? If you want some key words:
Creating an AI from scratch is certainly a big project - since you’re not new to software development, choose what you’re most comfortable with. There are no too many commercial AI available like Siri, Amazon Echo etc.

The best robots with ai capabilities have a computer with an actual operating system on it. Languages for professional developement like ROS, Java, Python, and more would be great with this. I would recommend also using a Linux OS since those are meant more for developement use. Good luck!!!
