New to building drones..well electronics.I 3dprintCNClaser

IM hoping someone can help me…I have some 180 and 250 280 size quads built…frames only…some laser cut and 3d printed…or some we used the cnc…we have a few fully operational drones…a few storms fpv…180s that are fpv but no gps…But i like building my own and I discovered this company…I’m familiar with pi, bbb, arduino, edison, adafruit feathers , dfrobot gear, etc you name it…I’m not the best at using all of the many many MANY components , addons, and software downloads, but I CAN DO PRETTY WELL…I’VE BUILT LOTS AND LOTS OF THINGS OPERATED WITH ARDUINO PI EDISON NAZA DSM SPEKTRUM CONTROLLERS DX6I DX5 ETC…Arduino has been awesome for me since I have a small makerspace with a XCARVE CNC another router cnc makerbot rep 2 a B9 creator printer that has a resolution of.008 microns and the rep 2 is .100…but it has ups and downs either or…we also have a jtech photonics laser all done up by the guy as well as stuff like sand blasting indoor kits wash stations a vacuum table…also due to my work background I built the 1st version 2 of the FILASTRUDER…EXTRUDER FOR MAKING YOUR OWN FILAMENT WITH QUALITY CONTROL AND WINDER ALL RAN FROM SOME ELECTRONICS AND AN ARDUINO NANO…I mean even a cameo for doing embossing cutting plotting and etc for stickers…I’m saying all this so you know I have some smarts and have done ok with some stuff, but this stuff on this page looks crazy! SO…I know cad arduino software etc

HERE’S WHAT I CAN’T FIND…

I have some smaller frames 180 to 280…I plan on using my cnc and 3d printer to build my own frames still. I just order a - Radio System: FrSky Traanis X9D Plus + AC800 RX (8-Ch)…completely new than my flysky or radio link at9 and def all my dsm spektrum controllers so far only used on planes and jets…SO I HAVE THAT STUFF AND AM BUILDING A DRONE…FPV QUAD that I can hopefully learn what advantages these products will have for me…and will they fit on a 180 size mini

Hi Jerad,

That look like a lot of fun, i used to cut frames at home too (DiaLFonZo-Copter).
Both flight controller that you link to will use the open source MultiWii project but one with an ATmega 328 (similar to UNO) and the other one a ATmega 2560 (similar to mega).
Also, the do not have the same sensors on-board as the MWC feature the MPU-6050 which have Gyroscope and Accelerometer only. This is good for sport flight. The Quadrino Nano will have the newer MPU-9150 which integrate Gyroscope, Accelerometer and Magnetometer in the same chip. Also you have the Barometer as well as the GPS on board. There are also a lot more ports available to add stuff like bluetooth modules or anything else.

One last thing, we created a software which allow to load the MultiWii project directly to the Quadrino Nano without having to touch a line of code.
This is easier than go through the Arduino IDE code and define the options manually.

For purpose fun flight, the lower cost will do the job.
If you need a little more, than the Quadrino Nano is fully loaded.
