Just want to introduce our pan and tilt turret to the forum . . .
We are developing a robot for commercial security application. It’s main function is to autonomously scan an area an shoot an intruder with a paintball gun and pepper gas filled bullets (I stay in South Africa so please understand!).
Our turret mechanism is completed and we busy with the Compulab CM-X270 controller compulab.co.il/x270cm/html/x … asheet.htm that will allow turret monitoring and manual overide control via WiFi & Windows Remote Desktop … should be ready in 6 months.
Although we target the security market we also make our turret available to robotic enthusiasts that want to focus on software development rather than building the hardware.
