New 1/4 scale bracket images

Here are some images of the new HS-755 / HS-5745 quarter scale servos. Note we are changing the “C” bracket to be 0.50" longer.

The first image is of a small (L6 aprox.) arm.

Here are a couple views of the bracket alone.

Here is an image of an SES sized arm.

Is there going to be a long C version? (the kind that can go around the long edge of the servo, not the short edge… e.g., the ASB-10 equivalent?)

Wow that’s awesome.

Yes, but not immediately. Gotta spread this out a little. Gimme a few weeks. I edited the original post and added an SES sized arm.

Thanks! I should have done this a long time ago. :stuck_out_tongue:

Monsta brackets! :open_mouth:

Fantastic!

Hehe… No rush!!

Just make sure the long C version can also hold a large track sprocket!

I hate to even ask, but are we getting ano black?

Man these are just what the doctor ordered. 8)

Jim, those PWN! 8) Its really nice how the new 1/4 C bracket has those 45 degree angles on the corners, might make some good clearance if needed.

I wonder who will be the first to build a true SES 1/4 scale hexapod. I know somebody, besides Jim, will do it…

8-Dale

nice…

will these brackets fit the hs-700…???

have some would like to make some-ting…humm?? :bulb:

keep up the work…!!

Neat Jim! Nice work!

I ordered a huge amount of brushed and brushed black anodized.

Thanks!

Aha! ulterior motives. I don’t know if it will be enough. We’ll see how it pans out.

Yes the 45° angles were to add strength. But it may help with clearance as well. Plus the face of the bracket is the same width of the standard sized “C” brackets.

Aside from the chassis a large hexapod will be able to be built from off the shelf components. The ASB-06 and HUB-08 and tubes etc, can be used to make larger versions of the A style 3DOF legs. Actually I think a larger round chassis CAN be made from off the shelf components. I can’t wait to see a 30" round hexapod! hehe 8)

I don’t have a 700 but I do have a 705 and it looks to fit the brackets.

hey
I need some…any idea on price???

tkx

Brushed finish parts have a release date of 2-29-08 and the anodized parts have a release date of 3-12-08. It will take a little time after we receive them to get them packaged with hardware and set up on the website for sale. The price will not be too much higher than the standard size parts, just a little. 8)

Good call on the angles. I think these are gonna be very popular.
