Needing help: Setting up my HT-450 (V1E-6050)

So after reading and fumbling around for a few hours, I figured out that my HT-450 is running a V1E WITH the 6050 (integrated accelerator and Gyro). I am running a Spektrum Dx6i with stock 450 motors.

My questions are:

-What should I be selecting for “custom mix”
-What settings should I run for receiver protocol and how do I know which serial to select (I have picked spektrum as RX protocol). Tenbits? or 11bits?
-Prior to updating the firmware, I noticed the status light would turn blue. Now it is not doing that.
-What is a normal I2C error count?

  • Also what should I expect ACC to be? Right now after calibration it is -3, 2, 500.

Additional upgrade questions:

  • Would I benefit from GPS? Sonar? Can they even be added on this older model?
