Hello I am currently trying to make this pump softroboticstoolkit.com/tether/fabrication/assembly-pump to control mckibben actuators but the motor used is too expensive maxonmotor.com/maxon/view/product/273752 is this motor a good alternative robotshop.com/en/12v-5310-rpm-cim-brushed-dc-motor.html?
The Maxon motor is likely significantly smaller than the CIM (90W and 15V means a current of 6A). The dimensions are also quite different, so the parts cannot be reused.
Maxon an Faulhauber are some of the highest quality pumps available as well. We do not sell them, but you might be able to find used motors at good deals.
Very nice cycloid gearing.
