Need motor and hub info

I purchased several gearhead motors from Lynxmotion not long ago, and was wondering what thread-size mounting bolts they use? The motors in
question are GHM-04. The specs label the holes size as “4-M3”, but I
have not been able to find these.
Also, what thread size is the center hole on the HUB-04 mounting hubs? Not the set screw hole, the hole in the end of the hub?
They came with hardware when I bought them, but I need longer bolts due to the thickness of the tires I am using.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out!

Scott

There are four (4) M3 holes to mount the GHM-04. Be careful how far you thread the M3 screws into the holes as it is possible to hit and bind a gear inside.
The HUB-04 bore is 6mm I think.

The picture ref’d on that page shows it mounted to a GHM series gear motor which has a 6mm output shaft.

The thread size is 5-40.

That is true of the mounting hole closest to the output shaft. Also the 50:1 version requires a shorter screw if used in that location than the 30:1 version. The hole can be used, but you can’t use a long screw. If you use the two holes that are across from each other, screw length is not a problem.

Thanks for the info. Lowe’s had the M-3 screws, and I will order the 5-40s in the length I need online.

And also thanks for the heads up on using a short screw when mounting the motor.

The 5-40 is in English units, right? I’ve looked all over for 5-40 1.5 inch screws. Where does one find such a thing? --Osman
