need help to reset a roomba 500. it was left unplugged for 3 days and now we can not get it to work again. any ideas would be appreciated

We are sorry to hear that your robot vacuum is no longer charging. In this case, we would suggest that you first try charging the robot without using the home base. You may plug the robots charger directly into the side of the robot. Since your battery is deeply discharged, it could take a few seconds or even a few minutes for the battery to start charging.
After it has charged, it may not function as long as it did before. If this is the case, we suggest that you try out the Roomba Battery Reset Procedure.
