Need help with work project

Hi everybody,

I’m thinking about getting the AL5A for a marketing project that needs an object repeatedly picked up and placed autonomously. The picking up and placing positions will be identical every time.

I was wondering if it were possible to program the AL5A with the necessary motions one time and then have it run the same sequence everytime it was switched on without any external controllers or PC.

Would really appreciate any help with this.

Yes the AL5A can be programmed to do these moves automatically. There are a few different ways to do it though, depending on the complexity of the project. For a simple project you can buy the arm without electronics, then buy the Bot Board II / Basic Atom Pro and write a simple program. Or you can get the full kit, create the project with RIOS, then export it as a Basic Atom program.
