I am building a robot for carrying a payload of 50kgs. My robot will have 2 motorised wheels and 2 free wheels (probably casters). My movement area will be a cemented floor (low dust environment).
I need advice me on the following :
Which DC motor to buy ( RPM and torque)
Which motorised wheels to buy
Which caster to buy
How to I ensure that all the 4 wheels are perfectly aligned on a horizontal plane.

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. We suggest using the RobotShop Drive Motor Sizing Tool to get an idea of what motors you need. There are many casters available, and the only real considerations are the overall height (so your robot is level), type of wheel (offroad / solid / flat) and of course the rated load capacity. To ensure you choose wheels which make your robot level, you will simply have to take measurements, and add appropriate spacers where necessary.
