I have built a huge robot that I am trying to control with the Basic Micro Claw. The unit works with small motors but as soon as I hook up the motors that drive my robot (electric golf cart motors) the unit shuts down and flashed the red error led. I thought this unit would control up to 25A? What am I doing wrong?
I am just hooking up the motor to the motor outputs on the controller board as per instructions. The motor draws around 15 Amps at 13 volts.
Here is a drawing and specs. attached.
The motor specifications are important (they are within the controller’s specifications).
Can you provide detailed photos or a diagram of how you wired the unit?

You can use the “attachments” option when you switch to advanced. Upload the file, and drag / drop it into the lower area to attach a specific file to your message. You can also transcribe the specifications into the body of your message (only a few values are important, being nominal voltage (so long as that is the voltage you plan to use), stall current and continuous current.
Hello Photon,
If you provide a diagram of your circuit and the motor specs, it would be easier for us to help you out.
