I need to buy about 50 of actuator. But before I buy I need help pick right actuator and accessories. here is what I need to do.
I am going to use actuator behind each drawers. each drawer will have minimum 25 pounds weight. all I want to do is actuator will push the drawer out about 2 inches and then I want actuator go back automaticly.
I was on Firgelli web side and I like there L12 product… I have enough room behind drawer so size is not a problem. let me know what I need to buy.
i have design my own touch switch and electro mechanical latch. let see if i can explain how it’s going to work. I will have touch switch on front door. As soon as you touch the switch, it will unlock drawer and send power to actuator through micro switch inside mechanical latch and push the drawer out about 2 inches than you can pull the drawer out manually. Before I push the drawer back inside I want to retract actuator without using any other switch or any other operation.

i tried using spring but because of weight(35 Pounds) in drawer i had to use strong spring and when i use strong spring i need more pressure to push it back in. i will use microcontroller. can you recommend microcontroller that easy to use?

Hmm - this type of setup usually does not have an actuator at all - it’s driven by a spring / gear system. There are many devices (especially on a car) where you push the front of a drawer, causing a latch to disengage, and a spring to push the drawer out. If you want it to be powered, you’d need the L12 linear actuator, a touch sensor and a microcontroller. You would also need the -I version of the L12 actuator in order to send position signals.
We recently bought 5 servo HS-5485HB and one 8-Servo PC Driver, We want to control our servos by PC, We want to write our own C or C++ program. But I am struggling how I can correctly and precisely control my servos. I wrote a C++ program for sending 3 data bytes: sync byte, motor/servo number, and motor position but it does not work properly. By the way my servos are continuous servo.
Do you have any C++ or C sample code to control servos by 8-Servo PC Driver (RB-Sct-48)?
