Need Help Spec'ing A Robot

I am a new guy wanting to try out a robot in a small mfg facility to do real light work with small parts. I need some assistance in which robot would be best to start with. I am looking for a robot that can grip parts, repeat motions and do a routine non-stop. e.g. pick up a part, move the part to a specific area, hold the part in place for a given amount of time and then set the part down in a different location and repeat. not looking to spend a ton of money but need the ability to walk away and let it do it’s thing unattended. All advice is welcomed

For manufacturing, you really need an industrial arm.
The Baxter is the closest we have, and is actually one of the most versatile.
Hobby grade robot arms cannot be operated for too long.

thanks for the reply, However at this time we are more interested in proving our concept and not so concerned about longevity. Still would like some info on which hobby robot meets my criteria.

None of the hobby arms we carry can do a routing without stopping - most hobby arms are based on RC servo motors which have a duty cycle of around 25%,; in the span of an hour for example, the arm should only be operated for around 15 minutes.
If you can work within this constraint, you can create a proof of concept using a hobby arm. As such, we would need to know the maximum reach as well as the maximum payload.
