Need help in choosing right parts to build a robot chassis

Hey there,

I’m planning to build a small hobby robot for myself.

And I found out that your website have all the stuff required to build it.

As I’m a complete newbie in this field, I would be glad if somebody can help me select right parts for it.

Here are my requirements

So this robot will be carrying around 10 kgs of payload (without batteries and its own weight).
It should be able to move similar to the speed of a human walk (5 kph).
It should be able to move over rough surfaces as well.

  1. What is your opinion on that?

  2. Is any of the motors mentioned in following link will solve my purpose or Do you have a better motor for me?https://www.robotshop.com/en/planetary-gearmotors.html

  3. Which batteries do you recommend me to buy considering I want it to run for 1 hr at-least without recharge?

  4. What motor controllers and other stuff I need to buy to make it work with Arduino? As I’m a programmer by profession, I’m planning to program it by myself.Thanks in advance.
