I have a lynxmotion arm robot and I think it’s connected correctly with the computer and all that, but I cant get anything to happen when I launch the flowbotics software. Anybody willing to help me out?
Hi Kev,
I’m not personally familiar with the software, so I’ll leave that to another, but what do you mean by nothing happening… are you sure you have the wires connected correction - red = positive/VCC, black = ground, yellow = signal for each servo?
Cheers,
Nick.
I’m pretty sure yes. Everything is lit up on the board, but the robot wont move when using the software. There’s a red LED labeled B and a green one labeled A, they are both lit up. And a blue LED labeled PWR, so I think it’s all good. I don’t know how to check and see if the USB though is working as a com port.
Do you know of any additional drivers that I need to install when setting it up?
To confirm, which arm do you have, and which electronics? Do you have the SSC-32U servo controller?
Can you initially connect to the SSC-32 Servo Sequencer Utility?

The drivers needed for the board are FTDI VCP: ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
