Need help for solution

Hello All! We need to fix the position of hitting the puck in the hockey gates - where the puck went to within 2-3 cm.
At first, I thought of placing vibration sensors on the grid (every 10 cm) and taking, for example, the SD84, if the washer hit, the next 3-4 vibration sensors detect the position, but this option is too loud.
I also thought about the 3D scanner installed parallel to the plane of the gate. But I’m not sure that the scanning speed will be enough to determine the washer flying at speeds up to 180 km / h through such a narrow section of the 3 d scanner.
Please tell me what else there may be options for determining the position of the puck hit the goal for hockey. Gate size - 1.22 by 1.83 meters
