hello guys out there. I need help desperately for my project. can anyone out there recommend me a servo controller?

the size of the board must be small because i need to control the snake robot by using RF transmission. Pls help me out.

How many servos do you need

How many servos do you need to control? what do you call small?

Have a look at the SD21 from Devantech, you can control up to 21 servos, the board is actually pretty small, and allows you to directly connect on it a 18x picaxe chip or a BS2…

I own that board and that’s a nice little device…

Plan to control 8 servos

I plan to control 8 servos just like the GZ-I robot, each module have 1 servo and 1 servo controller. Maybe the size is around a servo size (1.6 x1.4 inch). Any recommendation? actually i found 1, Mini SSC board. but i am not sure whether it is suitable.

my project actually is to desgin a snake robot for spying purpose and this robot must able to move in tiny areas and cross over the obstacle.

So you want to have 1 servo
So you want to have 1 servo and 1 servo controller inside each snake segment? You could use a small 8 pin pic or avr dedicated as controller interfaced through I2C to make it completely modular.

actually i am looking a complete servo controller board cause i am very weak in designing the circuit and programming it. But i am willing to learn it if anyone out there willing to guide me.
