Need help choosing parts

Hi, I’ about to embark on my first project and I need a bit of help. I would like to build something similar to this.

I thought I’d build the bottom half first and then if that works I’ll do the top half next. This is what I think I will need.

Hitech winch servo
128 tooth big gear (I would like a slower rotation)
16 tooth servo gear
standing servo mounting plate type B
4.5" channel

However I am completely confused by what I will need to mount the gear. If anyone could help me out I would be very grateful. I’ve been through the Actobotics parts and videos and I’m getting a
big headache trying to figure it out. Many thanks in anticipation!

And there seems to be a couple of other options:

You’d still need a standard size servo motor, the actobotics channel and the 90-deg bracket as well as a servo mount and some other gears for the top half.

Thanks I appreciate your suggestion. Unfortunately I don’t think you can get that kit anymore.
I’ve decided to go with stepper motors now instead of servos and have ordered some parts.
