I’m working on a project for a small robot stand that will hold a stylus and tap a tablet. I bought a pan and tilt set from Adafruit with two servos that looks like it will get the job done in terms of moving the right way but it’s very short and has no particular hole to hold the stylus. I need a way to either put this on a small tripod or stand or to build something similar on a stand with small Servos. Any advice on something I can buy that involves minimal or no sawing and drilling?
Unfortunately nothing evident comes to mind for tripod mounting (without creating a custom bracket).
Can you drill a hole in a Lynxmotion bracket (or your bracket)? The common thread for a tripod is 1/4"-20, or perhaps 3/8"-16 like on my Manfrotto.
Can we get a link to the pan/tilt you have?
A 1/4" hole in an an aluminum bracket shouldn’t be too to drill with a Dremel tool.
