Hello.
Im new to robos but not to RC ben doing it for a long time. I work in a hobby shop right now. Im geting into robots. I got the awd1 3 days ago from the robot shop. got it working with my DX7 spektrum radio. But when i go backwards the left motors gos fast but the right motors gos slow. When i go forward all the motors go the same speed. when i turn left the motors go the same speed when i turn right the 2 right motors go slow and the 2 left motors go fast. Is the sabertooth 2x12 bad? Hope you can help.

yeah…I did all of that. i tried a different radio, batteries, and also messed with the switches and had the same result. The right side motors only move slow in reverse . i believe there may be an issue with the esc because i have tried all trouble shooting and cannot get to function properly on the right side . even if i switch the motor wires then the oppisite side is still slow . any suggestions other than checking switches or wiring because i know that is all correct. thanks david.

If you checked all those aspects and the controller still does not work, then it is possible it is defective. Please contact us to our support centre with you order number and a reference to this thread so we can exchange the controller for you: robotshop.helpserve.com/english/Tickets/Submit
The Sabertooth motor controller should be only acting as an ESC. It is strange that some commands work and others don’t. Is the trimming on your controller OK. Also, you might want to check dip switch settings on the Sabertooh, try switching the modes to se if it works better.
As always, please check the connections and power.
