Neato XV14 LCD and Dirt Bin Sensor

Having problems with the LCD and Dirt Bin Sensor on my XV14. The backlight comes on but the screen is blank. I opened the unit and see a ribbon cable between a small board and the LCD. The connection to the main unit is on a plug-in connector. Is this repairable or am I out of luck (saw post saying parts aren’t available for the ribbon cable but didn’t see what can be done to fix).

Also have problems with the dirt bin sensor. Can I jump it out or does the software require the bin sensor be tripped occasionally?

Hi Bobby,

We do not carry the older version of LCD with the ribbon cable unfortunately. You will need to replace it with the same version, as the newer version has another connector which is not compatible.

As for the dust bin sensor, it can be jumped with a 2.2k ohms resistor.

Is there a source for old version? If I cannot find one, sounds like I have no option but to live with it or replace the entire unit?
