Hi,
I bought a neato XV25 3 years ago.
I changed my batteries three months ago.
But, since fews days, on my device, i have the message " my battery is low. Please charge".
I plug the neato on the base charger and also on dc wall directly.
Despites, it seems my device doesn’t charge.
What could be a solution ?
Is there a special block for the charge in the device ?
Thanks.
Lee
Hi Lee,
We would suggest you to open your charging station and verify if the DC adapter is correctly installed in the charging base. Also, we suggest you to test the voltage on the charging station, to verify if you do have voltage to recharge the robot.
If you do have power on your charging station, please try the following:
- Open your robot’s menu and select “Support” and then “New Batteries”. Once selected, select “Shutdown” and put your robot on the charging station for the next 2 to 3 hours.
Please let us know how it goes.
Hi.
Sorry for replying late. Just was looking after my device to test the voltage.
So, the voltage is correct. My DC adaptater delivers 24V.
I interverted the batteries, and also declared them as new one…
Unfortunately, i still have the same problem : My Neato wakes up, but, the batteries doesn’t not charge…
I don’t know if my batteries (new one) are dead or if a module inside the neato is dead (charging module for example)
Does anybody has an idea ?
thanks.
Hi,
If you still have your old batteries, you can put them in your robot and verify if your robot does charge or not the old batteries. If it doesn’t, then the problem is from your robot.
Have you purchased your robot and/or the batteries with us?
If so, please contact us via the support center with your invoice number.
Please let us know how it goes.
Hi,
Yes i changed my batteries because it didn’t charged anymore. But… i threw them away.
I bought my robot with you, yes, but it was on 2012, i don’t know if you still take it in charge.
