Neato XV 21 not able to charge

My XV-21 had a blank screen. Following instructions on the board I replaced all the capacitors, but it didn’t fix it. It turned out to be a bad LCD. I ordered a new one and installed it myself. Now it’s displaying correctly, but when I dock it to the base, it doesn’t charge. The LCD always displays something like “my battery is low. please charge me”. The batteries are brand new, I tried the batteries on another XV21 I have and they were charged fine. I think in the process of replacing the capacitors I probably broke something on the mainboard.

Any help is appreciated.

Replacing the capacitors on the circuit board is to fix the dim green light problem and not a blank LCD screen.

If you have another XV-21, we would suggest you to swap the motherboard and verify if the other XV-21 with this modified motherboard can charge the batteries, if not, then unfortunately it seems the motherboard has been damaged.
