Hi Everyone!
This is my first posting to this forum so please be gentle
I’ve had the Neato XV-21 for 7 months now and it’s been great. I have it vacuum my home at least once a week, so I’m not really running it excessively frequent.
On it’s last run it started to halt and report “my left wheel is stuck” not long after it begins it’s cleaning cycle. So I turned the unit over and noticed that the left wheel was in fact notably more difficult to spin by hand than the right wheel. I visually inspected the wheel and the motor housing and didn’t find any debris that could be preventing it from spinning.
Has anyone ever run into this problem and solved it? I’m not sure where to begin, and I’m considering taking advantage of RobotShop’s warranty, but I wanted to ask to see if there was any ‘quick’ fix first.
Just for reference, I have never opened up the robot yet except to clean the brush head, and the firmware is at its latest (version 3.1 at the time of this writing).
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.
