I have a Neato XV-21 vaccum. It is about 3 yrs old. I bought new batteries early part of this year and did the calibration as described. All went well till just recently. Now my neato constantly flashes the “needs to charge message” even when on the charger all day. My husband has checked the batteries and they are showing fully charged but I cannot get the neato to even spot clean. After trying a few things it is now completely dead and won’t show anything. What might the problem be. What should I check next. Thanks.
You can verify the voltage on the charging station to make sure it is working. You should get somewhere between 22 and 24V. You can also verify if the batteries are correctly connected inside the robot, you can swap them to make sure it is correctly connected.
If it is still not working, we would suggest you to verify with a new pair of batteries. The batteries should last approximately one year with this robot.
The batteries are new. Just bought this past spring. Everything has been checked out and the batteries and charging station are showing they are in normal working order. I will swap batteries back check conections to make certain. Thank you for the input!
