Neato Charge base issue specs and details in message

Neato Customer service sent me here

I have a Neato D (model number 905-0285) which will not charge, battery is good, just replaced with a new factory one
Checked the charging base and it was only putting out 3 volts DC so I it seems as if the base is bad
Tried to “chat” with the neato customer service to find a replacement charging base and they said to try here for answers.
the bases I see advertised have output specs t DC: 19V ,2.1A, power 40W the current (broken) charger has output spec of DC: 18V ,2.0A, power 36W
what are your opinions regarding the difference will that difference possibly damage the vacuum unit?
(electronics are not my forte)
and if possible can somone recommend a replacement unit if the specs above are not compatible.

Hey,

I’d suggest you to purchase one that are on par with your specs. There may be some revisions inside the charging base that will result in an issue while charging the vacuum, such as not detecting it properly.
