Neato Botvac D5 reading full battery as 0%

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

I have a Neato Botvac D5 Connected that intermittently reads a dead battery and shuts itself off when running. When I turn it back on it reads the actual battery percentage accurately (accurately as far as I can tell based on how long its been running before it died.) It was doing this before I replaced the battery and has continued with the new battery. i checked the prongs of the battery connection on the robot to be sure they were intact and all the same height. Only thing I can think is whatever the circuitry is that reads the battery power isn’t operating correctly (I guess that is obvious lol).

How can I continue to test and inspect this? I assume there isn’t a circuitry diagram I can look at is there?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi @Daveed and welcome to our forum!

We are sorry to hear about your issue with the robot.

Have you bought it from RobotShop? If so, please give us your order ID.

Also, have you tried reseting your robot before it shuts itself? ( Press and hold the Start Button for 10 seconds. The robot will turn off . Press the Start Button again to turn the robot back on. Wait for the beeping sound to confirm the robot finished the reboot sequence.)
