Just starting today, my Neato Botvac Connected cleans only a small area of my apartment before it says it’s finished and returns to base. I purchased my botvac January 1. It’s base is in an area where it has ~three feet of open space at its front, left, and right.
Any ideas on why it might not be cleaning my entire apartment?
Another quetion:
Is having the botvac connected’s WiFi on essential to the robot working properly? I tried running it today without the WiFi on because the phone app never seemed to reconnect to the robot after it hadn’t been used for a few days, but I just turned the WiFi back on and connected it etc, and it seems to be working fine now.

Do you press on the Home button when you are starting a cleaning cycle on your robot ?
If you are pressing on the square button, this is the Spot Clean button. It will only clean a small area before returning to its base.
The WiFi connection is not essential to the robot to work properly.
