Neato Botvac 80 not charging

Hi all, I have a Neato Botvac 80 that has ceased to charge. I have installed a new battery. The battery voltage per a multimeter is 13.8 volts, the voltage on the charger terminals is 18.3v

I hooked up to it with Neato Control and got some weird looking values for the battery, see below.

Additional notes - the unit will power on as it sits on the charging base, and give the “please remove dust bin and turn power switch on” or “my battery is low”, and charging the unit gives me a pulsing amber light for 5-10 minutes followed by a solid amber and sometimes a green light with the unit trying to power up while it’s on the base. It does not respond to any button presses.

Thanks for taking a look.

Another note maybe worth mentioning: When it was connected to PC, in Neato Control (v 3.3) on the “Recharge” tab, the buttons for step 2,3 and 4 are blocked by a big red warning that says “Battery less than 12v”

2147483647 is the largest number in a signed 32 bit system afaik so I would presume these three values are just “maxed out”, I am considering replacing the system mainboard, anyone have any suggestions for testing first?

Hey snippysnaps, did you get a resolution to your issue? Having similar problem on a new unit

Wow this is something I experienced a while ago but I was lucky and somehow it just resolved itself. Can’t say the same for everyone but now I sincerely hope you solve it. Cheers and Good Luck
