Neato Battery Issue 0007

Hi guys,

I have a neato xv21 rs, The unit have a Battery Issue 0007, so I reset and the same issue came right the way, is like a cycle, never ends, so I leave the neato uncharged for 2-3 weeks, I connect again to the outlet and works again for a week after that the same problem again, manual says error 0007 is because a cold environment, but Im in South Florida, is summer, A/C is at 76, so I don’t think is the environment temperature.

Also, I turn off-turn on, clean all sensors, clean the unit, ect etc,

Can some one give me some ideas to fix it,

My Neato is of warranty.

Thanks for the help

How long have you had your batteries for? It is possible that your robot needs new batteries in this case.

Neato batteries usually last for approximately 1 to 1.5 years with proper care. They can also last longer if you indicate in the robots menu that you are installing new batteries and then charge them fully.

We suggest always leaving your Neato on the charge. If you plan not using your it for more than a couple of weeks we suggest charging your batteries fully then removing the batteries from the robot and storing the batteries in a cool, dry place.

If you have any questions or problems do not hesitate to contact us.

I have the neato for less than a year like 8 months, was a refurbished neato.

But, I do a research about error 0007 and somebody fix ti with a thermosensor (*Temperature & Humidity Sensors ) could be the issue…???

Thanks.
Walter

If your robot was refurbished, there is a good chance that the batteries included were not new. We do not suggest adding sensors to the robot or batteries. In this case, we would recommend purchasing new batteries. We have them available at the following link:https://www.robotshop.com/en/neato-xv-replacement-batteries-2-pack.html

Thanks I will order now

Hi Julie, I add a new battery, but instead of error 0007 now I have error 0002 and every time I want to charge it after a few second the error come up, restart and the same thing, turn of for a few minutes an the same thing.

please advice
Walt

Hi Can you please give me an advice…?

My neato refuses to charge and to operate, and suffers battery errors 0007 and sometimes 0009 & 0002.

It developed this error with the old battery packs, which i foolishly replaced with new ones and recycled the old ones.
I downloaded a program called ‘neato control v3’ and connected my laptop to the neato via a usb cable (same kind as for charging a PlayStation 3 controller) and monitored the sensors.

Sure enough, BatteryTemp0inC was holding around 22 or 23, but every once in awhile would spike instantaneously to -13 Celsius.

So my robot vacuum, or the battery pack has a faulty connection, or else a faulty thermistor.

Don’t bother expecting knowledgeable advice from Robotshop employees. Their solution to your problem is probably ‘we don’t know or care, but I can sell you another one’.
Yah geez thanks, man.

hello, Barkfin.
I have same issue 0007 in my neato xv-21,
and I check my neato with ‘neato control program’, BatteryTemp0inC was -13.
How can you fix this problem?
I want you to share your experience.
