NC51 Nitro Wall Climber not working

Hi, I own a Nitro Wall climber model NC51. This week, the robot just stop working. I plugged it to my powersupply and i turned it on (3hours cycle or 1hour cycle), the impeller on the robot start rotating but just 3 sec and then stop. The wheel is not moving at all. I had done theses steps for troubleshooting and still not working:

1- I removed the filter bag and replaced the cover to see if the robot will work. No chance
2- I plugged the powersupply at different outlet.
3- I check all the inside of the robot and it’s clean.
4- I verified the voltage of the powersupply and it give 32 DCV. (The powersupply suppose to give 24DCV) I suspect the powersupply is dead?

Last week, the robot works fine and this week, the robot is dead :frowning:

Any user had this happened before or any tech can help me?

Thank you!

Hi Calv, have you purchased this robot with us? It seems there’s a problem with either the pump motor or the drive motor.
If you have purchased this robot with us, please contact our support center and our technicians we’ll verify if we proceed to repair your robot.

Hi M. Thibault,

I don’t know where it was purchased. It was given by my father.

But according to you, the driving motor and the pump motor might be broken? Both motors broken at the same moment this week, is that possible?

Thank you again!
Calv

Hi Calv, It can be either one or the other. Since you said the pump motor starts but stop after 3 seconds, we tend to say the drive motor is defective.
However, sometimes the seals around the pump motor let some water inside the motor, it corrodes the connectors and you have to replace both motors.

As for now, we would say the drive motor is defective. You can contact our support center and verify with your father if he still has the information related to this robot. We can also verify the purchase with the email address or the name.

Hi M. Thibault,

I might found the problem. I stripped the pump and found out that there something loose or broken. When I shake the pump, I can hear the broken parts that is under the “glue” inside the pump, like under the connector of the capacitor.

I hot wire the impeller motor (pump motor) and the drive motor, they both work fine. I guess that is the pump casing that need to be replace.

Let me know if there a way to repair the pump casing or have to rebuy a new one?

Thank you!
Calv

Hey Calv, you can purchase the whole pump if you contacted us via the support center.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to purchase the pump casing alone.
