Natural litter (EU) for Lavviebot?

I have been trying to acclimate my cats to the LavvieBot. Initially, I tried bentonite litter as this is recommended, but my big cat won’t take to it. He’d rather use the floor than clay, though he has fine etiquette when natural litter is available.

Our preferred litter is too large for the Lavviebot, so I’m now trying Cat’s Best Original, but it appears to be too light/coarse for the Lavviebot to operate. (I did, of course, reconfigure it for this litter.)

Can someone please suggest alternatives available in the Netherlands?

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your LavvieBot.

You can try this brand “Croci Tofu Clean” since it was recommended by the manufacturer.

Thanks, I’ve ordered some Croci and it seems to work for the auto-cleaning so I’m happy that I can indeed use the Lavviebot.

I’m not at all impressed by the odor control of the litter itself, so will continue experimenting with other options.

We are glad to hear that the robot is working again.

Regarding the odor issue, you can try mixing some baking soda with the litter to reduce the odor and increase the absorption of the litter.
