N00b questions using the Velleman 12v valve

Hi all,

I recently purchased the Velleman 12V valve. I have an issue with it not being air tight, the leak seems to be coming from one side (possibly both sides) of the valve when attaching and tightening the plastic nozzle. No leaks are coming from the tubing that I’ve used. Is there anything I can do to fix that myself? I’m thinking some sort of water seal washer or something.

Also to wire it up correctly should the live wire connect to the side that has “12” written underneath it (if arrow on top is facing right the live connection would be the one on the right)?

Water should flow from left to right (arrow facing right), is that correct?

Thank you

Hi @Roboshopn00b and welcome to our forum!

Yes, water should flow as you explained. And yes, you should connect positive wire to number 12.

Regarding this leakage. Is this happening on threaded part? If so, you can use plumbing tape to fix it.
