Lee (Mrs. DT) died in her sleep Tuesday. She and I were in the middle of a divorce, but I never wished this on her. At least now she is in a place without worldly pains for the first time in 14 years.
On the other hand, I have to fill out a lot of paperwork in order to clear up our finances because she had most of the income. Once I get through that and getting a new passport I’ll be getting a motor home and taking a vacation overseas. Any suggestions?
I am sorry for your loss. I can only imagine the tumble of emotions you are feeling right now. My thoughts are with you as you work your way through all the changes you have coming.
I have little to offer in advice, but can appreciate the turmoil of long term sick relatives - my sister in law is virtually bed bound and lives with her mother, who at 85 is at least mobile but not well. My wife and I have the duty of care over them as they only live three blocks away and the only other relative lives on the other side of Australia. Wonder if you have considered Australia as a choice for touring, many grey nomads over here with no house - sold up and brought motor home.
Thanks Rox, I might take you Thanks Rox, I might take you up on that, but I have a pair of very good friends who are helping me out. They stayed with me much of Teusday night and we went out tonight for our semi-normal dinner and bookstore thing. Wednesday they are taking me to the huge RV show in Harrisburg, PA. That way I can hopefully check out the floor plans I want to buy and see if they’ll how big a robot they’ll fit.
My condolences and I´m sure she also in a better situation.
I wish you all the best now and if you need any help just tell. For selling the house I´m sorry but living in UK I can´t tell you.
About having hollidays, well Barcelona and Sevilla (Spain) are great places to go and weather will still be good some weeks more (I´m now in London just in case you wander). Those places can be busy or quiet depending or what you want. Nice places to visit to and very good food. I don´t know if you like the plan…
