My new Magabot

Hi LMR!

I know that magabot has already been posted here, but how this one is different and is what I'll be using on the next few months, I tought it deserves its own Robot Page.

The main differences are the elevated structure that is on its top and the 14V 5000 mAh battery that lets me use a Kinect on the robot.

 

After testing the robot with telepresence using skype, I've started developing what you can see on the video. The computer is running two different applications. One is what processes the kinect input data and controls the robot base, the other is the face that appears on the screen. The kinect application was written in C#, using Microsoft's SDK and it talks to the face, which was done in Processing, via TCP messages.
