The problem I have is in configuring the Lynx Arm SSC-32 card with the max and min movements of each axis.
It works fine first time, but when I connect the Arm to a new computer it says it does not have the custom settings and initialises with the default settings.
At the same time the Arm’s SSC-32 remembers the programs written on the first occasion.
Surely when I press save the Arm’s extents of motion should be saved to the SSC-32?
We have six arms and it will be very time consuming to set each one up each time.
The min and max settings are not stored on the SSC-32, they are part of the Project you build with the RIOS program. If you want to use an arm on two different computers you will need to export and import the Project for that arm.
