Hey guys, thanks for the great comments! It was a ton of work, but a true labor of love.
I really don’t have much to add. I have a very long write up on my blog. There’s a link on the original post. That should answer lots of questions. If not, don’t hesitate to contact me for more.
There are six Lego Mindstorms NXT sets, plus a TON of individually purchased items. I have been building with Lego for over 20 years now, and collecting sets all that time so I have no idea how many sets are involved, but I own 200+ sets. At the end of the video is a laundry list of just the electronic elements involved
ABB, the company who makes the Flexpicker delta robot has asked me to bring it to an event they are hosting in October. That’s not bad when you impress a company with a mock up so much that they want to see it in person and show it off to their customers.
Let me know if you need anything, I will be happy to help. And don’t EVER let anyone tell you that Lego is just a kids toy!

P.S., you are absolutely correct about the gloating comment!
Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. I gew up with LEGO and to say I am “impressed” is an understatement. Well done. You really only needed to design one - being able to build four is just gloating We encourage you to add more videos with your other creations.
