hello everyone,
I’m new to the forum I am French.
I have a big problem with the Lynxmotion sequencer to recognize the card ssc32 for the connection I have an adapter RS422/RS485 ftdi232 chipset and not possible to connect the card into the sequencer always displays a message "can not find ssc32 card … "
I do not know what to do and my hexapod is ready but I can not order it except through an arduino board.

ssc32:
-> 9v power supply card (green LED illuminated)
-> 3v power connector servo
-> Jumper: x2 115200 baud
-> Serial com1
BUT IT WORKS NOT!!!

Install ftdi usb cable VCP (virtual com port) driver.
Adjust the property “latency” to the minimum.
Plug in the cable before starting the program.
Start the program LynxTerm and see if it can connect.

3vdc seems low for servos…

Exactly what program are you using?

RS422 RS485 chipset?

422 is differential if I remember correctly, and 485 might require a CS or handshake to enable buffers.

thank you for your response,
the program is Lynxmotion Visual Sequencer v1.16, 3V and it’s just to test the card to see if it works in other works in the servo 6v.
for vcp I do not know but I will look for is installed.

Servos require 6vdc. They will not work at 3vdc.

Of course we only need the FTDI cable part, not the RS422/RS485 part, right?

What does it do, or not do?
