My first robot(s)!

I’ve been drooling over everyone’s robots for a year or so now and have been wanting to make my own for some time. Unfortunately my girlfriend/family was under the impression that paying for rent was a more productive use of my money. (Crazy right?) So to make it “productive” I decided to take a graduate class in robotics. There was the small problem of never having touched a robot before, not being a graduate student, and not being an electrical engineering major but that’s not important right? Anyways here’s some pictures and links to videos of the final robots. I initially meant to only make the biped but got carried away and built the quad the weekend before final presentations. Even tho the class is over I would love to hear peoples opinions and suggestions as I’ll be continuing to work on the robots in the future.

Looks like you jumped right in and made it happen. Good job. There are so many topics when it comes to robotics, machining, electronics, physics, mathematics, biology, mechanical engineering, computing and many many more. There is really no limit as to how far you want to take this. Hope you continue on with the hobby.
