Hi,
Good evening. I am considering using CH3R for a project but having following questions:

  1. Is it true that there is no wifi wireless connection?
  2. How many sensors can I add to the system?

Hi JY,

There isn’t a kit available from us that does wifi, but you can add any type of wifi interface to the microcontroller that controls the robot. It is possible to control the servos from a PC sending data to the SSC-32 through a wireless interface, but using our electronics all you would need to send is higher lever commands like the walking gait, speed and direction, etc.

There are plenty of left over I/O pins so you should be able to connect several sensors. There may be issues using the ping due to it’s timing requirements, but the sharp GP2D12 should be no problem. Are you a programmer?
