Mpg using linuxcnc help

I am looking for a MPG pendant to use with Linuxcnc and came across the PoPendant 1C CNC Pendant Control Box.

Is this a USB connected pendant? I had a Jog It usb pendant that worked great until some of the buttons quit.

What is involved in making it work with Linuxcnc? Is there any config changes needed?

The PoPendant 1C CNC Pendant Control Box works with any software such as Mach3, Mach, LinuxCNC, and others.

However, it is not a USB connected pendant, it uses a DB25 pin connector:
