Mover4Axis arm won't connect

Hello
I just purchased a Commonplace Robotics Mover4Axis Robot Arm Mover for my classroom. I have loaded the program and the driver a number of times but can not get the robot to move. The usb adapter blinks red sometimes fast and sometimes slow but still won’t connect. Under the red dot on the left of the screen it says “module dead” The stop button will register but nothing else.
Can you help me please?

Hi,

We’ve contacted the manufacturer concerning your issue and we will post here again as soon as we receive a reply.

Sincerely,

Dear dsiford,

please check the emergency stop (it has to be released by a twist) and the power connections. Especially the mains cable plug in the power converter needs to be inserted with force.
With power the blue LED on the robot base should be on. If there is also communication this LED will blink.

If this does not solve the problem please send me a short mail to [email protected] with
–> The status of the blue LED in the base (off, on, or blinking)
–> The file c:\CPRog\logMessages.log after you tried to connect to the robot
–> The serial number of the robot, you can find it on the base

With this information we will find and solve the problem!

Thank you & best regards,
Christian
