Any idea on how to mount a robot base plate which could be easily detachable as needed? I have some thought on drawer cabinet mechanism however my blase plate is pretty thick about 2"so I’m concern with it’s strength. it’s a typical chassis design with 4 aluminium rectangle support on the bottom. Thank you

There are a lot of different ways to create detachable plates, you have to include them in your design. (thumb screws / clips / etc)
For a platform that small, it might be overkill to have drawers since they will take a lot of space and add weight.
