Mounting RS-1270

I just bought a RoBoard RS-1270 high Torque servo for evaluation purposes. I’d like to use it to control a lifter arm one a one lb flipper robot, but I’m not sure how this servo is intended to be mounted. The output side has six small holes (four of which are co-axial with the assembly screw holes in the back). Am I suppose to be small self tapping screws in those holes? That does not seem like a very good plan.

Also note to robotshop.com I bought this servo because your description implies the whole case is aluminum when in fact only the mid section is aluminum. Please update your description to clarify this.

We apologize for the confusion. The product description will be updated shortly.

As for mounting the servo, you can use self-tapping screws on the small holes places on servo drak plastic body.
