Mounting points for RoboClaw 2x15/2x7 on A4WD2

Hi,

I’m planning to buy the A4WD2 rover, and use RoboClaw 2x15A or preferably 2x7.5A on it as a motor controller, the latter I believe should be sufficient with this rover. Are there any mounting points I would be able to use to mount the controller?

Also, I tried to look up a schematic with dimensions of various mounting points and holes on the lexan plate but could not get anything online. Could someone point me to the document if Lynxmotion provide it?

Hi,

The Lynxmotion Aluminum A4WD2 Rover Kit has 4 mounting holes for the Sabertooth Dual 12A 6V-24V Regenerative Motor Driver which are 1.5" x 2". The mounting pattern of the Sabertooth is different than the 1.26" x 2.343" of the RoboClaw 2x7A, 6-34VDC Regenerative Motor Controller. You will need to drill holes with the appropriate dimensions to mount the RoboClaw 2x7A, 6-34VDC Regenerative Motor Controller.
