I have constructed the AL5D arm up to the gripper and then went ahead with installing the wrist rotate upgrade but I’m having trouble figuring out how to secure the multipurpose bracket to the C bracket on the other side of the bracket from where the servo horn attaches. It seems like the servo for the wrist rotate is blocking where the bearing should be. Is there any advice for putting this together? Thanks!
It would be secured the same way as on the normal arm (step 14):

I might not be using the correct screw. It is supposed to be the 3mm screw that is 8mm long because it is hitting the wrist rotate motor. Is there a different way I should be approaching this or a different screw I need?
You have the wrong screw. It should be the standard screw (brushed, Phillips head) included with the bearing. You seem to have an imperial screw in place.
