Motors for 4 wheel transporter

Hello,

our friend has broke his leg, so now we want to build an electric wheelchair for him as birthday present haha.
The problem is we are more from the software and not the hardware.

every wheel needs a motor but we don’t now the specifications. We were searching for 12V DC motors but there are so many of them. we don’t know which one is the best for us.

The requirements are:
4 motors:
about 16 km/h with a load of 100kg which can also handle small inclines.

i hope someone can help us:)
thanks a lot!!

Can you provide a general design via sketch / CAD or drawing so we have an idea what it might look like? If you have an idea about wheels / dimensions etc. it would help as well.
Have you considered purchasing a used electric wheelchair? It would likely meet his needs and be far less expensive than anything custom built.

We didn’t make a kind of drawing. It is for the fun.
We want to build a small platform where we can put one small chair on it and are ging tot control it with a Playstation controller. (We now how to do)

The wheels are with a diameter of 10 cm.
We want the platform as compact as possible, so when his leg is cured he can remove the chair and van use it by standing on it. Because we don’t know what the sizes are from the motors and accu. We don’t know how large the platform Will be.

A platform which can move a 100Kg load, above and beyond its own weight (including batteries) won’t be too cheap:

A few important factors to consider in the design include:

]The motor shaft cannot fully support the weight of the load./:m]
]You will need a fairly powerful motor controller for four powerful motor controllers./:m]
