Motorize a video slider

Hello this is my first message . Señor Coleman Benson told me to open this topic:

I am a video grapher . We have build with some friends a mechanical slider for video camcorder on the base of a perfect aluminium profile.
The track could be used horizontaly, inclined until verticaly. The camera plateform is able to keep its horizontality thanks to the black level nut .

Now, we plan to motorize it with a stepper motor type 3D printer. We are not unkiet for the slow horizontal journey.
But for the the vertical journey we need your help in order to **calculate the right motor stroke. **

The camcorder and kart weight is almost 2 Kilos.
The motion will be transmeted by a diameter 12 mm puley and a dental belt of 10mm width.
The track offer less than 800 mm of space.
This distance will be ride in 10 or 20 second as faster speed.
12 Volts is the power available.
The 3 picture will make you more clever.

If you need more data , please ask me.
Thank you very much for your help

Hi Gruz,

Both of the google drive links are not working.
What do you mean by “stroke” exactly ? There are not “stroke” on a motor.
