Motoreductor for a radiocommand car

Hello,

I’m making a radiocommanded car and I want to put 1 motoreductor/wheel. I don’t know how to chosse the good motoreductor, I have read topics but I’d like to have advices.

The (estimated) caracteristics of my car are:

  • Number of motoreductors: 4
  • Weight: about 1lbs + motors weight
  • Max speed: about 12mph
  • Max elevation: about 10°
  • Wheel diameter: about 2,5inch
  • Power supply: probably 12V battery

Are there some motoreductors which could answer my needs?

I recommend using this tool to get an estimated of the torque your motors will need:

Once you know that you can then find a suitable motor in the Gear Motors or the Servo Motor Power Gear Box sections. Or you could also check the DC motors comparison list:
